Privacy policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026. This policy explains what personal information 4 All Electrical NE Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
4 ALL ELECTRICAL NE LTD. (referred to in this policy as "we", "us" or "the company") is an electrical contracting firm. Our registered and trading address is 11b Airport Industrial Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 2EF, Tyne And Wear, England. The company is directed by Daniel Parker. You can reach us about any matter in this policy by emailing info@4allelectrical.co.uk.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller of the personal data described below.
What data we collect
Information you send us directly
When you email us at info@4allelectrical.co.uk, or prepare an enquiry through the contact page, we receive whatever you choose to include: typically your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the address of the property or site you are writing about, and the details of the job or fault. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, carry out work you have asked for, and keep the records that electrical contracting work requires.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server hosting this site records technical information when you visit: your IP address, the pages you request, the type of browser and device you use, referring pages, and the date and time of each request. These logs are used for security monitoring, diagnosing faults and understanding how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use server logs to identify individual visitors or to build profiles of them.
Cookies and local storage
This site stores your cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage under the key allelec-consent-v1. Depending on whether you accept or decline, third-party cookies may also be set — in particular by the embedded Google Maps frame on the contact page and by Microsoft Advertising if advertising is shown on this site. These are described in the sections below and in our cookie policy.
Embedded Google Maps
The contact page embeds an interactive map served directly by Google. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google's servers and Google may set its own cookies or use similar technologies on your device, in line with Google's privacy policy. The map does not load until you scroll to it (it uses lazy loading), and no personal data is sent to Google by us in order to display it. If you prefer not to load the map at all, you can use the "Open in Google Maps" link instead, which takes you to Google directly, or simply email us for directions.
Microsoft Advertising
This website may display advertising served by Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads). If it does, Microsoft may set cookies on your device to measure how many people see or interact with adverts, to limit how often you see the same one, and to show adverts that are more relevant to you. The data involved is handled by Microsoft under Microsoft's privacy statement. We do not receive the contents of these cookies, and we do not see or hold lists of individuals who have visited this site. You can read more in our advertising policy, including how to opt out of personalised advertising.
How long we keep information
Enquiry and quotation emails are kept for as long as they are needed to handle your enquiry and, where work follows, for the life of that work plus the period required for warranty, certification and accounting records — normally up to seven years, in line with the retention expectations that apply to electrical certification and business records. Server logs are typically retained for a short period measured in weeks and are then rotated away. Your cookie consent choice in local storage persists until you clear it, either through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page or through your browser.
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Personal data is only disclosed where the law requires it (for example to regulators or authorities with a valid legal request), where it is strictly necessary to deliver work you have asked for (for example notifying completed electrical work to building control through a competent persons scheme), or to the service providers who host and support this website, who act on our instructions and under their own data protection obligations.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:
- Access — ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct any information about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- Restriction and objection — ask us to limit how we use your data, or object to particular uses, in certain circumstances.
- Portability — receive the data you have given us in a structured, commonly used format.
You can exercise any of these rights by emailing info@4allelectrical.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge for making a request. Where we are keeping records because the law of electrical work and business accounting requires it, we may be unable to erase those records until the retention period ends, but we will always explain what we hold and why.
Right to complain to the ICO
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please do email us before escalating if you can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example if the way the site works changes, if we add or remove advertising partners, or if the law changes. The version on this page always shows the current effective date at the top. If we make a significant change we will take reasonable steps to draw attention to it on the site.
